Recognition of International Francophone Early Childhood Credentials
Welcome to this space dedicated to the project "Study on the Recognition of International Francophone Early Childhood Credentials for Working in a Minority Context in Canada." This study is intended for employers and all individuals who would like to work in the early learning and child care sector and who hold a Francophone early childhood credential obtained outside of Canada.
The "Study on the Recognition of International Francophone Early Childhood Credentials for Working in a Minority Context in Canada" project aims to support the early childhood education sector in recruiting qualified Francophone workers for early learning and child care services in Francophone minority communities.
This project makes it possible to:
Conduct a study on the recognition of French-language early childhood credentials in the main Francophone immigration pools.
Develop a guide for employers to support their international recruitment efforts.
Draft a code of conduct as an ethical and responsible framework for the international recruitment of early childhood educators, taking into account the realities of source countries, best practices, and recommendations from Canadian embassies abroad.
This project, carried out by the Commission nationale des parents francophones (CNPF), is funded in part by the Government of Canada through the PAIF of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
